    Why Not is not, what it used to be. Most of the young local people stopped coming there several years ago, so all that is left now is a few foreigners and a lot of prostitutes. Which is fine of course if you are looking for a prostitute. But not if you are looking for a place to go out and have fun with your friends.

    Also the band playing on wednesdays in Why Not is the same band, who had that assignment in 2004, when I started coming there. So I think, its time for Why Not to move on and offer its customers something new.

    No _ _ _ _. I went to a bar in Olongopo last year and it was not the same bar or ladies when I first went there in '65. What the hell is going on in the Philippines anyway?

    Update: I'm giving praise to why not for the new dj and lights. Bravo. Decent crowd tonight (Friday). It was a much needed improvement, it's like a club/"disco" now. I expect it to pick up a bit.

    Hey PatO,

    Back in 65 they still had teeth and were slim and trim. LOL

    I had to chuckle when I read your post. I went to Olongapo a couple years after Pinatubo blew and it had changed dramatically, but then so had I.
