The person who's message I partly quoted (but he's excused, because none of his brethren in Borneo were included in any trial for any vaccine)-

Duterte ordered agencies to move faster in distributing the vaccines to areas with rising numbers of cases.
National Task Force against COVID-19 chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. said local governments have been scaling up their daily vaccination capacities as COVID-19 jabs are being consumed fast. He cited Cagayan de Oro, Ormoc, Negros and Iloilo, which he said consume 5,000 to 8,000 doses per day.
“Different sectors are being mobilized and integrated so that they have an increased capacity in the vaccination,” Galvez said.

Do you want to know things or not Rye? I'm just letting you know. It's just rhetoric at this point. But all Presidents have emergency powers which he can invoke. He's been measured so far. He may have enough pull to get that law passed, but so far he's using his bully pulpit.
Right now you have the *illusion* of choice. The ability to travel can change overnight. One of the reasons I'm getting vaxxed is that could become a requirement overnight for travel. Worst case scenario is your choice is to get vaxxed or deported. We aren't anywhere near that. Maybe head to the USA, get a good vaxx and return. I was thinking of Singapore for a month if need be, but the vaxx situation there isn't clear. In any case, Sinovac isn't a bad vaxx, and you can get a good vaxx after. YMMV.-

Almost every time i am at the boulevard which is not so often nowadays i see a mad local woman with no mask but plenty of social distancing as i think most people are afraid to go near her, sometimes she is wearing revealing clothes (not a pretty sight)
There are also a few obvious nut jobs that are allowed to wander the city centre maskless.
Poor mental health seems to get you a waiver from covid or at least the restrictions for it.

I hope the various/redundant FB news media folks do not post this story over and over and over again, like they did a few years back with that drunk on the blvd that kick someone's dog.

I rated this with "Genius". I agree, keeping seniors locked up in their golden years....sad. Beyond that.....I know many seniors who can fly up several flights of stairs and NOT have to stop bent over gasping for air. I also know several under 50 who labor just to tackle one flight of stairs. People who have been on this earth for a long time have enough wisdom to make their own personal health assessments. Fortunately, the gov for months now, has allowed seniors out for essentials. And for exercise close to home?.....I think that is still ok? Not sure.

No, I'm 38. I'm probably in the very least priority group.
They didn't bother to report on the Filipino woman that was doing the exact same thing for over 2 hours a week ago. I'm sure like the Filipino woman, this foreigner has mental health issues.-
