Hello! My first thread in this excellent forum. Im going to Dumaguete for at least half a year beginning end of May 2010. I have read lots of the threads regarding renting an apartment/condo in Dumaguete in my search of finding a decent place to live, but Im still not sure where I shall stay, so therefore I need your help. What am I looking for? As mentioned above I need a condo or small apartment for 1 person...... I dont need more than one bedroom. I would like a place with a/c, hot water cable-tv and I want it to be furnished. Safety and secureness is very important. Its also very important with reliable internet acces with a decent speed - For my work I need internet but in many threads I have read I find horror storys about bad internet....... Really no provider or good places to stay in Dumaguete to be sure that it will work without to many problems? Furthermore I would like a place where I have acces to a swimmingpool aswell as I would like to have a fitnessgym close to me. Is it possible to find a place like this in Dumaguete or do I have to go to a bigger city to find what Im looking for? Im arriving during raintime in the Philipines but how is raintime like in this area? A few hours a day? A week in a row or?? I am hoping to find a place like this for a maximum monthly rate of 20-25.000 pesos....... Am I dreaming? Looking forward to recieve your reccomendations Best regards Another Dane
