how are the utilities (water, electricity) now in dumaguete, such as rates and consistency of provision in most areas of the city and with most kinds of housing?

 

Zilam, if you are only going to be here 3-4 months, you will probably just need to find a place that is all-inclusive. Getting your internet, utilities, and paying security deposits squared away, are going to encompass the short time you plan to stay. Water can run between 200-500php/mo depending on what you are doing. Electric can run between 800-3000php/mo depending on what you are using (a/c, computers, fans, lights), a mediocre internet connection is 999/mo. (if available in your area) Cable (I pay 360/mo for analog filproducts), then there is water and cooking gas, travel and food expenses.....just my 2¢ worth.......
