For around 10,000 pesos you could probably get a furnished studio apartment. I believe the place where I'm staying allows rentals as short as a month but you would probably need to put down a deposit which is another 10,000 pesos (you get that back when you go unless the place is trashed.)

 

Where do you want to be based? I have a guesthouse in my garden in Dauin - bedroom and bathroom, which i'm happy to give you a deal on for a month.

If you want to be in town then it wont work for you though...unless you want peace and quiet.
