My wife took our daughter when she was Around 4 years old. The wifey was busy shopping and suddenly noticed she was gone!. In her panic she found a guard and screeched "My Daughter is gone!". The guard immediately stopped anyone from entering or exiting the door until many staff took off running everywhere and found her in the toy section.

But, on the upside, the very strict security helps to reduce losses and so keep prices down.
However, in a fire I think it prudent to just leave and deal with the security people afterwards - IF they are still alive.- Agree x 3

What? They couldn't check your bags and pockets, like when you enter?? That's just crazy. If it were a fire, I am sorry, I would trample them going out the doors!!

But I'm not so sure if the opposite is better: In Switzerland most time in a shop you find no shop staff except the busy cashier to ask, where something is. And the cashier can not get away from the cash register to help you.- Like x 1

Quite a few years back there was a similar post on here as the fire alarms went off in there and if i remember correctly there was a small fire somewhere in the store.
Same thing again guards would not let anyone out. Im pretty sure if that happen when i was in there the guard would be on the floor!- Like x 2
