Hi everyone, I'm a scandinavian guy in my thirties trying to escape the winter once and for all... I've been in Dumaguete a couple of weeks and so far I really like it here. The reason for this first post is that I need some assistance on finding an apartment to rent - preferably in Valencia. So if anyone knows about a place there for approx 10000P, please let me know. I would also like some advice on how to build a social network here - so far I've been a kind of a lurking about! vikingo

wow, would be swell if you could help! What I want: A small flat - with one bathroom, one bedroom and kitchen/livingroom combined... veranda would also be nice. Wifi is another grand pluss if possible. That its a safe place is paramount. And I'm single/no children so thats all the space I need.
This place looks super nice: MarPas Aparments Valencia - Dumaguete and would be a placed I would check out if I was heading back there. Its over your posted budget here, but fully furnished and as far as I can see including a broadband Internet connection, so it might be worth a look.

i live in an apartment here in Valencia-P6500 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom kitchen and living room combined. i will ask the caretaker if there is still available. there are also some newly built apartments nearby. next block from Jehova's witness church
