I'm a good pool player, is here a nice pub with a good table?

Hello Mike and welcome to the Forum. There are quite a few German and Austrian expats here so you will hear your native tongue every now and then. Which part of Germany are you originally from ? I lived for a long time in Westphalia (my son was born in Iserlohn) and then moved for a while to Fussen/Sonthofen.

There are plenty of houses and condos available to rent. Probably the best way is to avoid the property agents here, get yourself a bike and travel around the areas you are interested in, looking for the rental signs on the doutside of the properties, There are plenty advertised. Once you find where you want to be, then it's down to you to bargain for a reasonable and fair deal.

I am not a pool player, prefer snooker on the big table. But I believe that competition pool is sometimes played at the Black Pearl on the south highway, also there is a pool table at Mia's which is at the side of the airport. Other members here will surely point you in the right direction if they are also pool players.
