⌛ new motor bike

I figured there might be a few motor bike savvy guys on this forum.
What i am after is some info on the Kawasaki klx 150 against the xr200 Honda.
I am looking at buying a bike for when i come over and having it ready for me when i get there in sept.
Any info much appreciated.

If you are a tall man, I would vote the XR200 100%. My biggest mistake was selling mine.

Good luck finding a new XLR200... Honda rep told a buddy some important XR part was being allocated to US XRs, leaving low volume being sent to PI.

 

Never had any problem with parts for my XLR 200, a friend has the XR 200 and all parts have been easy to find.

I am not tall 5'9" and 150 lbs.. so no problems in that department.
I checked online with Emcor in dumaguete, have you tried them Surfin.
They say they have the XR 200 in stock 138,800.00 peso.
The KLX 150 is 123,000.00 peso.

If you plan on getting an XR200 then do yourself a favor....

Ya see, the XR200 they sell here has a rear suspension that is severely oversprung.

If you're going to get one (they're still good bikes) then check on Ebay and find someone selling the stock shock and spring from the CRF 230 and bring it over with you...

You'll thank me later for telling you this.

I was in Emcor and Appliance Centrum recently. One had sold their last/only Honda. At least at the time when I was there. The other didnt have any on the floor this afternoon.

I dont want to spend that much. I should have bought the little used beauty that was offered to me for p100t a month ago, but while I was waiting for the owner to drop the price, someone bought it for p98t. Grrr

I know where there is a black tanked one for p75t. I might have to buy that one...
