Just noticed that Mooon Cafe and Shakey’s have places opening up in that area ( but along the seafront). Both still being built at the moment.

Just to be clear, the Henry is located on the site of the previous South Sea Resort. That's how it looks on the map. South Sea had a pool, but no beach access. I ate there once in the smaller, more intimate restaurant. It was okay.

I saw the sign for the new location today. Can't say I was excited to see it as I've never been a fan of the Mooooooooon Cafe. Their Mexican "inspired" food is nothing short of hot garbage and just about everything else I've tried there is just meh. Shakey's is very mediocre pizza, if I were to spend the money and waste the calories on pizza I would go for a much tastier option.

The place at the airport seems the best Mexican option but would love to find somewhere as good as Las Mariachis.

Senoritas. I enjoy their burritos. I haven't ate there in years (when it was at the older location near Robinson's). Thanks for the reminder, I may try to get there tomorrow.

Seniorita's adjacent to the Airport parking lot is one of the closest to great tex-mex in the area (IMHO), we go about twice a quarter. Never needed a shield, at least, not lately. It's the one where we asked the waitress three years ago (old location), "The owner is from the US ??" and the reply, "No sir, he's from texas."

Glad to hear about Shakey's, we liked the pizza, almost as good then as PastaKing or Esturya.. Always thought it was truly stupid for a franchise to close a fairly major market without a plan to open or recruit a replacement. It's like expanding a two lane road without first moving the electric poles, which end up in the middle of the outer lane (lack of ATD; attention to detail).

We went to pasta king yesterday, found it no problem, signposted from the main road.
Food good and dine in up and running now.
