Newbie looking for some advice

The towns of Olongapo and Angeles City were BUILT on money that 26 year old guys paid for their women.

 

Seems counter productive to pay for women when you can get them all day for free.

Latin America is easy for meeting women, the Philippines blows Latin America out the water.

Took a 4 day short holiday to Manila to party. Had 6 women in that time that I meet online or at the disco. Only paid for the last one, I had 2K pesos to blow on my last day (3-4 hours before my flight) so I decided to donate to a chick from Havana Cafe in GB3.

I'll be on a 1500 usd a month budget in the Philippines (rent included). Only will be able to afford to pay for cheap meals and a movie. lol Wouldnt be able to pay even if I wanted to

 

Be Careful, not naive..

When you are moving and bobbing around quickly and can disappear, maybe you don't have to pay. However if you stay in one place for any length of time it may be cheaper to pay than play the ladies as naive. Your visit to Manila included staying in a hotel and being very mobile is a large urban area. You probably lost contact with the ladies after leaving as it does not seem like you are interested in going to Manila immediately again.
Your stay in Dumaguete will be different particularly if you rent a place to stay. Dumaguete is a little area, and the gossip moves at faster than the speed of sound. If you fart in the New McDonald, before you can walk to the old McDonald's everyone in the old McDonald's will have heard you have crapped in your pants while you were at the New McDonalds. Do not underestimate the FGN (Filiapina Gossip Network). The ladies here have nothing to do but gossip. In three days, everyone will know who you are, and you will not have to show your ID anymore or introduce yourself to the players in town (yes, the ladies are players here too). It is a small town and you are easily identified if you do not have dark hair, brown eyes, and brown skin and dress as a foreigner.

You will be soon be hearing things like "you are a foreigner, I know my rights, I will have you arrested and deported" from the innocent looking young lady you though you played the night before. You will also hear from the police officer.... "sir this can be settled for 300,000 P." and everything will go away while he has your passport firmly in his hand. The ladies you play with are not playing for the first time. Jealousy and vengeance is like a deadly disease here, not for the person who has it but for the person who it is focused on.

Be aware for the laws protecting woman here. They only seem to apply against foreigners. For an introduction read this recent article in the national newspaper: Philippine Daily Inquirer Digital Edition "Brit arrested for abusive behavior" which is about an one month live in GF who was insulted by her foreigner BF in the mall and had him arrested. Scary

Be careful.... I am not defending the ladies action, I am just trying to make you realize this is not a cake walk... and the ladies you seem to be focusing on are looking for money and an escape from the Philippines with a foreigner... you are their target and much as you think they are your target. Everyone is on the hunt. Dumaguete has a large foreigner population, both residents, and visitors, you are not going to be the first foreigner they have met and dealt with, many ladies are here because of the qualities of foreigners available. They are up for the game. I am not condemning all Filipinas as being this way, but the ones you seem to be focusing on are not naive, and only looking for a short term lover. Come and enjoy, but do not be naive, be careful. If you treat the ladies with respect, they may just respect you back if you are lucky. If you are not going to treat them with respect... watch your backside.

Not sure if I would call it playing the ladies as naive. I am up front when I meet women and they know I am only in town for a short while and here to make friends and have fun. I actually have all the girls on my facebook from Manila and plan to stay a week or two there before heading to Dumaguete. Will probably see a few of them again.

You are right about being in a small town being problematic. I have some experience with this in Colombia. Colombianas are quiet jealous as well. I can guarantee it will cause me some hassles in some fashion lol. Comes with the territory I suppose. I actually plan to dampen this slightly by having a lot of girls from Bacolod come to Dumaguete. Will need to think of some other preumtive measures as well lol

I always treat ladies with respect so that wont be a problem.

Will be interesting to say the least. Hopefully I wont encounter anything too serious.

Remember what Charlie Sheen said "I do not pay them to sleep with me, I pay them to leave in the morning."

If you call them prostitutes around the Dumaguete police, and the police will tell you that you have slandered the these young ladies who are just trying to look nice to attract a man in their scanty clothes and platform shoes and that you could be in trouble for your slanderous comments.

Please read the article that I mentioned regarding the application of the law on crimes against woman here. you can read it on line. I am not accusing anyone of anything, but I will say that if you get one of the ladies who are have "screwed up reason in their head" there could will be problems. Some of the ladies have an attitude. The fellow in the article may be older than the two of you, but the ladies concepts and thoughts can be used against anyone of any age. The ladies are aware of the law, so you should be also. You will most likely never see an article about a Filipino being put in jail for the same thing ... A filipino can get a lady pregnant and abandon her and have little problems where as a foreigner who calls them a prostituted can go to jail. Just be aware.

You can still have fun while taking caution... it is just like wearing a condom, a little foresight can eliminate many future problems.
