The local news here just said that there was a massive raid and they confiscated illegal pirated DVD's

Our law enforcement at work, I guess.

The news said about a month ago that there was "more than" one million motorcycles riding around without registration, and at least that many drivers without licenses.

And, of course, my personal thing is the number of thieves doing home break-ins.

Leave the pirated DVD's alone. I enjoy them. Go after the motorcyle registration, drivers licenses and thieves.

    Just my personal opinion folks........

Ok....update on later news (different subject, but related to my feelings)

It seems there was a LTO checkpoint in Manila today, checking for helmets. They caught many, but one was an off-duty LTO officer with his family, and no helmet and no number plates. Another was a PNP officer without a drivers license.

Obviously, they must have given them tickets, because the news was there.

I guess you don't know about the wonderful world of torrents, that's where the bootleg vids, games and software originate.

Take a peek at Pirate Bay sometimes, you may find a new hobby to keep you busy.

Driver's license doesn't mean anything if there's no driver education.

For those who can't be bothered with torrents, they can watch movies for free without downloading.
Quality may not be great but if you're not fussed, happy days!!

I read this story in the Cebu Sunstar yesterday, and it happens in a lot of businesses in the electronic industry. You would be surprised to find out how many internet cafes are using illegal software. Even downloading complete systems. AS for no drivers liscenses the State of Arizona where i live has about 30% of the drivers without insurance and most of those are illegal Mexicans, etc who if they are in an accident just skip . Usually they dont have registrations either.
