NGCP ADVISORY 12:00NN, 19Nov2013: NGCP customers in Cebu, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental and Iloilo experience partial power interruptions today at around 9AM-12NN, 1PM-3PM, 5PM-8PM due to generation deficiency. This is because of the isolation of several generating plants due to Typhoon Yolanda . Actual curtailment levels may vary depending on actual supply and demand conditions.
They also posted this a few days ago and nothing happened! I think one of the geothermal plants is still bust in Valencia and we may get brownouts until its fixed. Also the layte plant is out of action and this generates around 225mgw. There is not much spare power here even when everything is working it seems. We have been lucky so far.
