    Okay so I assume the 9 are "Distributors" for those companies that supply, meaning there is not 9 Power generating companies on Cebu... That is what I was trying to work out, if;
    Negros had one generating plant
    Cebu had 9 generating plants
    And;
    How many plants are down on Cebu unable to generate power due to the quake

    Looks like most if not all of cebu's power comes from the geothermal plant here on negros.

    It would be interesting to see a power map that shows where the generating sites are, how much they generate and how all the power gets distributed. I wonder if such a thing exists.

    It looks like everything is somewhat connected with the exception Mindanao. I wonder how their power situation is.

    It's on the map, leyte-Mind 2004. I'm sure they have their own power plant.

    That's my point. Based on the map, Mindanao has its own plant(s). I was wondering if they have better luck because they have dedicated infrastructure.

    They have their own plants but it is barely enough to keep up with demand. NGCP releases daily stats on the 3 regions expected power generation and consumption on their Facebook page. Mindanao is struggling to keep up with demand almost every day.
