I love draft beer. I am new to Dumaguete, living in Talay going toward Valencia. Can someone please give me directions to get there to Garcia's. I am familiar with robinson's of course and the boulevard. Is it close to either of those. Maybe I passed by it and just didn't see it. Thanks

Using Robinsons Mall as your start point, head down the south highway for about 1.5 kms. You'll find Garcias on the right hand side, next to the Black Pearl.

Thanks Mig, I stopped in at Amigos to try their food and did not enjoy it. I wasn't drinking anything that day so didn't ask about beer. Will go back for some beer though without food

When draft beer is available, will any of the vendors fill growlers to take home? Is that legal in the PI?

Ive just returned to Dumaguete after doing some hospis care to my dad for two months stateside. Prior to my leaving it seemed that Casa Blanca always kept thier SM draft brew flowing. I can make and supply draft beer in small quanities and high quality by the keg in the future. I do fear that it might be the worst thing to do for a startup craft brewery here though. Draft systems have to be individually sized and maintained reqular (cleaned) to keep the quality apparent. I can not see that happening in a place where beer sits the whole day in delivery on the street in the sun..and open topped shipping trucks for days at a time. Beer can *skunk* in as little as one hour in direct sunlight.
