    POWER ADVISORY, 450PM, November 9, 2013:
STARTING AT 5PM TODAY, NORECO II WILL IMPLEMENT A ROTATING BROWNOUT SCHEDULE DUE TO THE LACK OF POWER THAT IS BEING TRANSMITTED BY THE NATIONAL GRID CORPORATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (NGCP). THIS WILL BE A FEEDER-BY-FEEDER SCHEME WHEREIN THOSE WITH ELECTRICITY NOW WILL EXPERIENCE A POWER OUTAGE WHILE THOSE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY WILL BE GIVEN POWER. EACH FEEDER MAY EXPECT TO HAVE ELECTRICITY FOR ABOUT TWO to THREE HOURS FOR EACH ROUND. THIS IS A NECESSARY STEP DUE TO THE PREVAILING POWER SITUATION OVER WHICH NORECO II HAS NO CONTROL. WE APPEAL FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND CONTINUED PATIENCE. THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS US ALL.

Wow! Guess that was a false alarm notification they posted on Facebook, as we haven't experienced another brownout since they posted it! Sorry for posting it here!! I guess just disregard it!! Have a good one!!

    Good effort... thanks

Maybe we have not not faced our rotation time yet. I appreciate you efforts. Most of the awareness I get about brown out is when I bump into a wall from the darkness.

If you can not read this post, it probably means it is our turn now... O-|

LOL, Noreco just posted this on Facebook:

For the information of our MCOs, the scheduled rotating brownout was terminated as of 8PM November 9, 2013 since NGCP already allowed NORECO II to load its substations with the actual load. For now, there is no advice from NGCP as to curtailment of power load. We hope this will continue for the benefit of all concerned. Thank you or your support and understanding.
