    All persons applying for electrical service must first attend an "electrical safety" seminar. This may be where they all learned to unplug the ref at night to conserve energy!

    So then the ref uses twice the amount of elec to catch up when you turn back on the next day :smile:

    Cant forget that a ref. should be plugged in while it is empty and then given a few hours to get cool before you start loading it. This prolongs the life of the ref by a bit. So it sounds like Noreco is also in cahoots with the appliance vendors locally to sell more appliances!
