A huge old mango tree crashed on our street, down from my house, last night breaking the line, knocking down a power pole, and knocking out service drops to homes.
Today Noreco was able to install a pole and all the lines and had the area back up by 3:30pm. Good job Noreco.

Good job? +/- 12 hours to change out a pole, well I suppose so by local standards.

    Primary Line!

:D Pat, You would have thought, as they had the construction/engineering team out, they could have completed your House Primary Line while they were at it.

I guess you would have had to see the extent of the damage, the work effort, location, and the weather conditions to appreciate my comments. Bacong had to clear out some of the broken tree before Noreco could start work. Total Noreco time about 4 hours.

Jack, primary line already installed, transformer installed, service drop cable and parts purchased, will finalize and pay for installation tomorrow. This has been a real eye opening experience for me. The builder said he is only responsible for the power from the meter to the house, I was responsible for the transformer and service drop and parts. No problem. Had new homes in the US and all that was transparent to me.

*sshole came down our road in a high sided delivery truck, 6 months ago, a 10 wheeler, we saw it. He hit the line next to our house, broke the pole, with my transformer on it plus 2 others, in 3 places. He used full power on the two rear drive axles, skid marks for 20m outside our house and brought down every pole of the entire road up to Bantayan crossing, to get away. This was on a Saturday night. every pole was replaced by Sunday at noon. You had one pole down? Maybe Bacong is still classed as the 'Bukid' and not so important to Noreco.

    Oooook!

:D So you are ready for the Heat then now? How is the Plumbing problem coming along? Maybe the Builder is only responsible for the water from the Meter to the house also. ?????????? his Plumbers I think? trust they have found the leaks? Give him Stick
