After examples like, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, I wonder what would come of a power vacuum in NK. No idea, just wondering. They don't have the religious overtones of the former three, so I wonder what would emerge.
The islands in the Spratleys are within China's EEZ. The conflict there is that it overlaps several other county's EEZs. China has a somewhat legitimate argument for taking control over those islands. Not the case for the US in the Sea of Japan.
I imagine a reunification of the Korean Peninsula if the US has any say in it. If the US pulled out directly after removing the NK regime I imagine China/Russia would install a new, slightly less crazy, Chinese/Russian friendly regime.
If a potential killer is acquiring one gun per week, then would you stop him when he has one gun or ten or one hundred? For those who (quite rightly on conscience) do not want military action against NK, they need to consider at what point the problem becomes too big to handle without unimaginable loss of life.

Refer to my earlier Post about Wolf Creek, don't stir the pot lil man! Start sending Missiles over Indonesia's head and he will wake the Hornet's nest for sure! A lot of lip flapping and smacking going on here like a troop of Monkey's facing off, if push comes to shove, he will be breaking off a world of hurt he cannot chew and swallow! Trump would never accept a situation that costs the US and lives, only to benefit Russia and China. Reunification with a “free” South Korea” friendly to the US would be the goal. In effect no replacement for Un would be necessary. Fantastic if new capital friendly to Western democracy would be located in Panmunjom. In gets to live in jail or exile for the rest of his life. Trump does not care about being given the greed label. He is more concerned about avoiding the waste of taxpayer money (being respectful of the fact it is not free money that can be thrown to the wind). Let’s see, money and lives would be lost for the purpose of placing Korea in the China/Russia orbit. Sounds like an Obama strategy which does not fit his model in his book “The Art of the Deal”. If you believe there is a globalist agenda, and you believe 99% of the population are ignorant pawns who have no idea how they are being used for things such as population control, that national borders are irrelevant and much more, then you can believe the above quote.
