I curious as to why someone would punch the security guards; they barely touch you going in, I don't think it qualifies as an inconvenience.

    Mohawk+barefeet+nunchucks=bat sh*t crazy

I don't care what country this guy is from, he is not representative of anyone other than crazy people. Personally, I have never seen this guy before......and I hope I never do. He looks like a real basket case and completely unpredictable.

Here's another one who gives us a bad name also,he has been banned from plenty of places already due to his drunk behavior!
This pic was on a local news site a few weeks ago with some bad comments. I'm sure a few people in the Bacong area will recognize him!

I was thinking eastern european when I first saw him. Impossible to tell really though.

What I'm curious about is how do these insane people end up making it to the Philippines in the first place (and there seem to be a lot of them). What events in this man's life lead him to say to himself, "I'm going to move to the Philippines to practice my nunchucking skills!"
(Maybe he thought since they were Asians they all knew how to nunchuck?)

The second question is, how did this borderline clinically insane person save up enough money to get to the Philippines to practice his nunchucking skills? Making money when you aren't crazy is hard enough, I couldn't imagine it being any easier for a borderline insane nunchucking student.

Barefoot John going to Robs drunk again eh? So much for getting those t-shirts made.

The most well known barefoot guy with a Mohawk in Dumaguete is not American. I really can't see him punching a guard though.....even with lots of alcohol I've never known him to be violent. Usually quite the opposite, he's always the peace maker.

There is more than arrogance involved if you punch a man, woman or guard or whoever with a gun.... there is stupidity too o_O. We should bring courtesy and respect from our mother countries for ourselves and others, not arrogance and pride... there is already plenty of those traits already here before any of us arrived. I have always treated the guards with respect and they treat me the same way. We even usually have few word conversation as I walk by them.(like is your sister free tonight ) I treat them with respect because I do not want to be shot trying to walk out the entrance aisle . Rules are rules... and thinking is.... well I guess I should not say anything if I can not say something good..

A smile  goes a long way here in making friends, and someday I may just want to have the guards as my friends, like when I try bring in my handicap aide cat into the mall. lol.... Remember the cost of smiles have not gone up, they are still FREE to give, so give them away and enjoy your stay.. :D

o_O Absolutely correct Alex, We have all been here long enough to know the Drill and if Someone is new to an Area/Country, one think they would be savvy enough to inquire about Local/National Customs/Rules.

OR are we getting a new Breed of Arrogance Arriving?
Lets see how this unfolds, No doubt it will, as again it is a foreigner involved?

    JP:(
