You believe too easily, my friend. We apes are not as gullible. Had it been another ape, then, yes, I would accept the clever use of words (chimp, re apes, for chip) but as @Show Pony is human then it is simply not possible.
Not just apes for tools. Chims have been observed using a stick down the termite hole to catch termites. (Or are chimps part of the ape family? Will have to look that one up later)
