Who sends the notification or who gives the actual reputation points?

The notification is likely sent automatically when someone gives or takes reputation points. Users give the reputation points.

If you are wondering who gave you the negative reputation points you should look no further. It was for a personal attack on another thread.

 

You really have nothing to worry about though. Very few users here give rep points any longer and a negative reputation won't get you kicked off the Site.

I just didn't care for the personal attack. So I reported the post to a mod and gave you negative reputation point. (I believe that's the better thing to do instead of getting in a mud slinging contest)

 

I'm sure if a person has enough reported messages there will be some type of action taken. Just knock off the personal attacks. I know, and everyone else knows, you don't like me. That's fine, I don't really care, but personal attacks won't be tolerated.
