There is a very clear difference between trolling and expressing a different, and sometimes unpopular, opinion. Trolls consistently take those unpopular opinions, usually state them as fact and then utilize antagonizing and provocative language to get a rise out of other members in an attempt to get them to lash out and break forum rules. Trolls contribute nothing to forums as their only goal is to stir sh*t and rarely, if ever, contribute anything useful. Most forum moderators and admins can quickly identify these types as we deal with it way too often.
As for free speech, your definition is incorrect: you have no freedom of speech on or in privately owned property, and that could be a person's or a business' property (this includes social media and websites). Free speech means the government cannot restrict your free speech, not private entities. You think you could walk into Robinson's Mall, a Seven Eleven or someone's private property and walk up to people that aren't interested and start yelling and screaming a bunch of nonsense just to get a reaction? You would be escorted off the property in short order and possibly arrested for harassment for practicing your "free speech". The same applies to websites. You only have a right to free speech on government property...unless you are a foreigner in the Philippines, then your free speech is extremely limited. If you don't believe that then I challenge you to go down to the boulevard and partake in some political activism. Let me know how that goes.
With that being said, this is not a debate. Your definition of what a troll is is completely irrelevant and unneeded. The forum moderators and admins here know what one is and they will remove them regardless of your opinion on it. Have a good one.

When I said I would gladly have a conversation with you I had in mind explaining the facts that surround the fulfilled prophecy in scripture, which I think you said you would be interested in hearing. I realize that you are not interested in my faith and I have no problem with that. I also am keenly aware that almost no one cares what I think and I have gotten used to that. I too wish you the best.-

After reading that and a few others I personally went from "oh well if I catch it I'll recover quickly so what" to "Lets just try a bit harder not to catch it".-

Having viewed this forum topic, with great interest, for over ten years and with different ownership, I have concluded it is indeed private property and subject to the rules of the owner. It is what it is.

I think what non-believers object to is if someone of Faith pins them down and insists on them listening to something they are not interested in - but that is not the case here. Just read a posting if you want and ignore it if you don't. By all means, have a conversation about it if the ideas interest you, but keep it pleasant and respectful. The conversation should be about different views, not a lecture on why one is wrong.-

This is why those who abuse the feature will quickly earn warning points and/or lose their ability to give ratings.-
