One less special forces guy around

Pat, I don't know if there is a relationship with that , but one thing for sure is these episodes on the total devaluation of human life are increasing in this area and its concerning , I have been coming and going from that area for 11 years (Negros/Cebu) and fully intend to retire permanently there , I have never had any run ins / problems there and have done the trip from Australia to there probably 30+ times in the last decade , and I have for sure noticed the increase in the western presence in Cebu/Negros , and the increase in the mortality rate of these people , the ones that do it right , operate in their family and social circles do ok and live the life we want there , but there are some unlucky souls that do it right and still come to grief with the pistolero mentality of some of the local people which I find very unsettling .The ones that put themselves on show , the ones that get into certain type business ventures , and the ones that don't conduct themselves with tolerance and humility seem to have a quicker demise than the innocent ones , but still , why do people need to kill each other ? vengeance is a sad state of mind , and ever so prevalent in some areas
