I've had Starlink for about 9 months now and gradually expanded the set-up.
The kit is P28k but the ethernet adaptor to allow a 3rd party router is only P3200. So now I have a full mesh set-up (3 routers) to cover the whole house without blind spots, and a 3rd party router to extend coverage to our other house next door and to the gate 80m+ away. So I have coverage anywhere on our plot. On Christams eve we had 30+ guests, most on wifi and no issues. Total downtime runs at about 1-2 minutes per month and speed is consistantly averaging 200Mbps - occasionally down to 80 but also has hit over 300.
Initial outlay is expensive yes but it's still only P2700/month for a totally unlimited, reliable and consistant system.
Thanks Elon is all I have to say.

I have helped a few friends get orders from Starlink direct and done the installs. Dish and modems turned up with only issues regarding ship to address, needed to add a Google plus codes to get the order shipped, this added some back and forth with support which took an extra 2 weeks.
Follow up orders of Starlink mesh modem and LAN adaptors were very slow (8-10 weeks) and one order for 5 mesh had only 1 shipped and the rest cancelled without notice. I think it might be massive demand. Still worth the wait as the internet service is very good for the money.
Its a credit card charge on the Starlink account that you can contest the no delivery with your credit card provider. Reading the comments and info @ https://www.starlinkhardware.com/ I dont think they charge your card until its tagged as ready to ship in the Starlink account.- Informative x 4

I bought mine in SM Mall in Cebu. Brother in law picked it up and will bring it over next week.
Tried to order online before but there were some issues. Connection always went down before the entire process could be completed.
So I was happy to find out that starting first of November all SM Malls in the Philippines are certified dealer of Starlink.- Informative x 5

In general orders take about 3-4 weeks from date of order and delivery is by DHL. My last order came via DHL-Air Express-J & T but was still here within 4 weeks.
Hope this helps- Informative x 3

Starting 01.11.2023 Starlink is available at all SM Malls. SM is kind of a certified dealer of Starlink.
Hence I hesitated to order online I asked my brother in law to go to SM Mall in Cebu to get it there. No issues at all. He went, he paid, he got it. Now I am waiting for his arrival in Dumaguete and then I hope installation process will be smoothly.
I would recommend to go to Cebu and buy it personally. A trip to Cebu isn't a big thing. You can combine it maybe with other shoppings or stuff you have to do.
Just make sure it is available. Demand is enormous.- Informative x 2

Go to a lawyer and pay a few hundred pesos to have the attorney threaten civil and criminal legal action if they don't send the money which is probably already spent. They probably have no linkage to starlink, they are probably just installers.- Informative x 2

The company I work for has deployed Starlink to Japan, Okinawa and Guam (and other spots that I am not directly involved with) and the results have been really good; drops occasionally but only for a few minutes. And we've got everything in our field offices on wireless to include personal devices and subcontractors devices.
We purchased a system for the house and one for the farm and they work well. The different internet providers we've gone through in 12+ years at the house is nuts; from 2 wire copper, to satellite, to "new" copper, coming off a station with copper (cat5...still copper), fiber for a minute. I can't count the times I ran new lines from the pole to the house...always less than spectacular results.
Starlink is solid; pretty curious to see if someone else can tap into the market cheaper.
