I finally got starlink and started using it in June, speed, connectivity and everything has been great until the last couple of weeks when mostly in the evening between 6.30pm and 9.00pm i get a few outages, on the app it says the cause is booting and then searching, it also shows the downtime as only seconds or at least under 2 minutes but it is always longer than that before i can resume using the internet.
Any other users on the forum experiencing this ?

I occasionally get a similar issue around 8:45 - 9:00 p.m - it seems the cause is a gap in the satellites, or if the alignment of the satellites passes behind an obstruction, but it only lasts a few seconds. However, if it drops out then the system will reboot and search for satellite coverage which can take a few minutes as the dish needs to reset. Are you sure you have your dish in the best place as any obstructions (even if some distance away) will exacerbate the issue.

The company I work for has deployed Starlink to Japan, Okinawa and Guam (and other spots that I am not directly involved with) and the results have been really good; drops occasionally but only for a few minutes. And we've got everything in our field offices on wireless to include personal devices and subcontractors devices.

We purchased a system for the house and one for the farm and they work well. The different internet providers we've gone through in 12+ years at the house is nuts; from 2 wire copper, to satellite, to "new" copper, coming off a station with copper (cat5...still copper), fiber for a minute. I can't count the times I ran new lines from the pole to the house...always less than spectacular results.

Starlink is solid; pretty curious to see if someone else can tap into the market cheaper.

I understand Amazon are on the case with Porject Kuiper, which should make it interesting - competiton is normally good for the consumer. How long it'll take to materialise is another question but here's hoping.

I live up in the Bais mountains and have had no problems, except when we get a heavy storm. Even then, its a very short outage. I personally would love it if Musk got some competition. A bit of a radical in my opinion.
