Fortunately Unlike some other Areas and members of somewhat shady Alliances, we here on DI have a proud record of not getting too involved with the Elements that sprout this type of thing. OH! yes we have heard it be said by dubious others, But I tend to think that you will not Find many if Any here on DI that have been Told to their face " If you don't like it P..... Off" We are in the main, Ladies & Gentlemen. Married to our Wives/Spouses or in long term relationships with locals that think better of the Foreigner than some Locals at the Other end of the scale that know no better. If you do get involved with this type then time to change surroundings and/or local friends.
In the main it can only get Better, I am sure it can't get any worse. Can it?

Apparently I have unwittingly hit a nerve with some. This was not my intent. I was merely trying to give my point of view and some basic information to the expats here who may not be aware of how things worked in the Philippine Legal System. I do have knowledge of it as a family member of mine was murdered and my family and I had to deal with it and it was a real eye opener for me. I was trying to pass on the information I learned to this thread to hopefully help any other expats who may find themselves in that unenviable position of having to deal with the justice system. For anyone that felt slighted my sincerest apologies.
