    Are there any a British Members here, that can tell me, the Current, UK Tax free allowance, for Pensioners?

    I know I could Google this but I have a free morning and feel like posting some, in addition, I can never be sure, that any of the Websites, are fully up to date

    JP, the current UK tax free allowances on income for April 2013 to April 2014.

    Born before 6th April 1938 - 10660 pounds.
    Born between 6th April 1938 and 5th April 1948 - 10500 pounds.
    Born after 5th April 1948 - 9440 pounds.

    Income up to these figures is free of income tax. Any amount over those figures is taxed at 20%.
