Wonder if anybodies ever tried panning for gold in some of the rivers here flowing down from the mountain?

My friend is in the US now, and I was thinking about asking him to bring me over one of these specially made gold pans...

    How Odd!

SM, I was just researching that, Apparently YES? as long as it is in a River/Stream Bed then it is movable. Seems only when it is grounded, The Mineral Rights Act comes in to being. I am still looking at this issue, if you come up with anything, perhaps you could enlighten us all. I read that the the PI is the Third biggest Mineral Deposit Country in the world BUT is untouched in the main for mining etc.
