Some time ago, I very nearly did not get back into the PI as I had only 5 months left on my passport. I wonder if this will apply in going to Hong Kong? So fellow Brits, If it is the same and I am sure it will be, keep an eye on those dates now we have to go to Hong Kong to renew in person. Not sure I can trust the courier service, I had some problems a few years ago with Madrid Spain. I was stuck in GIBRALTAR for 5 weeks.:o Just a thought! Jack P. (On my way home Sunday)
I'm Not a Brit, but. A few years ago, I was flying out of Cebu to Hong Kong. At the Cebu Air Port, I was told I would not be allowed back in the country with less than 5 months remaining on my Passport. I went anyway and renewed it in Hong Kong. Ron
Thank you Ron, I feel that this has answered the question! No matter where we are from, the 6 month rule still applies, SO! fellow DI members, If there is No passport section in PI lets keep a check on those DATES. Jack P.
