    A Happy Mothers Day
While many mothers around the world will be honoured by their families today, spare a thought for the many who through no fault of their own will battle alone to raise their children, due to different and often differcult circumstances.
A kind gesture if you know someone in those circumstances, might just be so gratefully recieved. Just a thought.....JB

Err, no John, not "many around the world". Only the UK, Ireland and Nigeria celebrated Mothers Day yesterday.
There are different dates for Mothers Day, depending on where you live. Most common date is the second Sunday in May.

Do the Philippines celebrate mother's day?
Because the Philippines is made up of such a diverse mix of global cultures and with the heavy influence of American culture following American colonialism, everyone in the Philippines continues to celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May, and Father's Day on the third Sunday of June

In the Philippines, Filipinos celebrate St. Patrick's Day as a reminder of how Filipinos and Irish people have been able to enrich each other's cultures throughout the years.
Also> https://www.gmanetwork.com/lifestyle/news/86603/the-philippines-commemorates-st-patricks-day-through-national-landmarks/story#:~:text=In the Philippines, Filipinos celebrate, other's cultures throughout the years.

They also do Chinese New Years. The Philippines in most case's mimic many other Cultures and events. Having said that they also do maintain many cultural customs and events which are theirs alone.
