Over the last two years I have watched Dumaguete City grow and it continues to grow as more people move into the city of gentle people. These are pictures of some of the changes I have seen over this time period. I hope you enjoy them.

    1. The new PHCCI building on San Jose' Extension.
    2. The new DCWD also on San Jose' Extension.
    3. This is not completed yet, but it looks awesome already, it is the new sports complex located near NORSU.
    4. The old DCWD building.
    5. On Real Street past NORSU you will find this colorful outlet that has many stores that sales DVD and colorful print outfits and materials. This use to be located downtown with other stores of the same type, now they have split up to different areas of the city.

    6. The Grand Royal Hotel is located in this building with a lot of nice little shops that seems to be busy all the time. This is located down from St. Joesph School.
    7. The Paya plaza is located on a side street down from the Super Ferry main ticket office heading towards Silliman.
    8. Jabel building is located down the street from the Super Ferry main ticket office.
    9. National Book Store is a beautiful store located at the Silliman University entrance. It is the first store to open in this new building which is still under construction.
    10. AAC Tech has a new look and now shares the building with Panda Ice Cream Haus. This is located near the the National Book store.

    11. City Hardware is in the same place; they just remodeled their building and added a lot more products. This was nicely done.
    12. Plaza Dona Milagros has a new look as well, with very nice shops.
    13. Plaza Maria Luisa Suite Inn is all bright and colorful which adds to the beauty of the city.
    14. Ace Logic Computer Solutions is the corner stone of this plaza and is the only place I buy my computer hardware and software from. Great staff, super customer service.
    15. The smiles you see on these ladies faces are something I have become accustomed to anytime I enters Ace Logic. The entire staff is like this and it is a pleasure doing business with my friends here and their manager Carlo.:D

    16. POS Marketing burned down about a year and a half ago, and it is now back. They are in the same location, just bigger and better than before and with the rebuilding of their building, they have brought some new neighbors with them.
    17. Unitop is across from POS Marketing and is a welcome addition to the shopping industry.
    18. Uymatiao Trading Corporation has a new look and it is on the corner in front of POS Marketing on the corner of Gov. Perdices and Locsin streets.
    19. Futher down on Gov. Perdices on same side of the street as Uymatiao you will find Mart One Center. A nice store with some of the most polities people you will find anywhere.
    20. Check Inn Pension House as well as Bacolod JT Marketing is located in the same building as POS Marketing on Locsin street.

    21. Right next to the Bureau of Immigration is the (still under construction) new Lu Pega Building, and by the way, it is for rent.
    22. I just noticed this store today; it is right in front of Ace Logic. It looks very clean and organized. I think I will have to pay it a visit to see what kind of accessories I can get for my motorcycle.
    23. This is one of the new buildings down from Hyper Mart. Here you will find Cuttin’ Loose Hair and Nails as well as IT Outlook on the other side.
    24. Across the streets from Cuttin’ Loose is another new building for rent.
    25. This is Rustic, a new place that has just opened up in Talay on the way to Valencia.

These pictures are excellent, Rev Robinson! I appreciate how you're including all of these other buildings that have new paint and everything. All I ever hear about from friends in Dumaguete is Robinson's and SU's new constructions, etc. But it's the little details that matter to me. I spent my college years in this city, and it's nice to know that they are taking steps to revive their old buildings with the peeling paint and rusty signs! Dumaguete is looking quite cheerful now.
