Worldkeeping Queries How do you worldkeep Lord? Do you assign a Monday for this continent A Tuesday for the other and so on Until the nth continent matches the nth time? Do you schedule the winds to dust the mountains, Wake the trees at dawn, lull nocturnals to sleep before noon? Do you command the waters fast deliveries of nuts, Wanted by some squirrels wanting in winter in the woods? Do you order fire to cause-effect changes on lands That haven't produced reports, your directions procrastinated Of homework from last year's storms? Do you tell Earth to be still so You could adjust its tilt to the proper Angle to fix revolutions in our solicitude? That as we cling to our preoccupations We wake suddenly in the oddest hour Remembering your admonitions Of long ago, true now for even more. I guess that either you A word tto stop or start, or let out a sigh And all gets done my Lord. ACEA c2006

Moving On ...If only to forget, one does not feel... ...I tell you, I would have forgotten a long time ago... ...For I have felt no pain, no bitterness, no sorrow... ...In this place where emotions abound... ...I am safe within my walls that protect and shield me... ...I walk alone unscathed.
All copyrighted by ACEA Publishing Hi Poets Par Excellence Galore and appreciators alike, thanks for the chance to post some poems. All the poems I've posted are copyrighted by ACEA Publishing. Here's the last one I'm lifting from the c2006 edition, dedicated to the children in places torn by wars. Children of War The Dying of Seeds in War-Torn Places From off the springs of War, came the brave, They have slept with Death and have seen The true colors of sunset. They make us see the Fortitude we have, The wishes swinging Around our fingertips. We could wish to Live long enough To see who they become And what purposes they might find. For now we can touch their tears See with them the blurs Of visions for what may not become. Thanks for the opportunity to share dreams, feelings, hopes, prayers.
Poets Corner Seeker of truth Follow no path All paths lead where Truth is here To keep your marriage brimming With love in the loving cup Whenever you're wrong, admit it Whenever you're right, shut up By: E.E. Cummings and Ogden Nash
Departure When the end truly comes, that great day so longed for It comes with no great fuss, no headlines No great salute, no ringing tone To hold this one soul into "What will be!" No choir of angels No trumpet call Nothing new Papers sold Babies born People die! Life coninues............. Bins are collected Spots are squeezed Teeth brushed Toilet flushed Taxes rise And somewhere In the heart of that I leave............ ;-)))))) @A.S.
Ladies and Gentlemen, as you all know I am more that "straight and hard into the face"guy and for sure not able to write great poems like you all provide here. I appreciate each single one and each single day I log in it is my first read of the "new posts". Thanks for that... Keep them coming Rhoody good reputation for all of you added already
My "Awakening" is back to where it belongs Hi Rhoody, thanks for praising the "poets" and for reading our posts for the first time. It really mean something to us. We appreciate you more. Awakening Realizing, I'm about to embark Into a new world of uncertainty Beckonning, I am bound to adhere To what life has to offer The inevitable circumstances beyond our control Is absolutely unpredictable to predict But when life crumbles One must be fully awaked.
