Pole Transformer problem

Just an update on the op,noreco came out to test the voltage at the house and it dropped to well below the required voltage when the aircon started.
They said they checked the transformer and just said yet again no good and need new lol! The owner asked about a repair and was also told its the same price as a new one.

On another note i had heard noreco was a non profit company who does not pay tax! Maybe someone could confirm this?

A new couple bought a house close by and there is a 10kva pole transformer which came with the house which is not working. The last tenant had the fuse changed a couple of times but it blew again.
Noreco attended and just looked and said it was an old transformer and that was it.
I knew the people who built this house and the transformer is less than 10yrs old and im pretty sure noreco has some sort of repair service for these things bit they just didnt seem interested.
Question is who do they see about getting this fixed as sure it cant be that big of a prob.
Its playing havoc with their electric at the moment due to very low power in the area.

It would seem the transformer is possibly not owned by Noreco but is owned by the property owner. Go see Polaris who can sell you a recon transformer and it will then be tested by Noreco before instal.
