If someone like this can do this on a Small scale think how others in Bacong can make life hell if they decide to go Ahead.

The more I read of this the more I am annoyed ( For want of a better word.) How can a Regional and/or National Government be held over a barrel by this sort of action. One air crash and he surely will be up for culpable manslaughter.

The land owner made his argument in the comment section. I can see his point.....a little bit.

Heathrow comes out and fixes damage caused by planes landing at their airport......does the Dumaguete airport do the same? Maybe Mr. Amor isn't feeling the love anymore.

The man has a problem and is playing the cards he has been dealt. I can respect him for standing up for the safety of his family and property.

I agree with Mr Amor, it was up to the air port authority to put in place the nessary infrastructure before allowing biger air craft to start using the airport.Sydney had the same problem years ago they extended the runway out to sea maybe this should have been here this could not be done here. this city is not big on forward thinking and sound infrastructure . I am sure no one would would be in a hurry to pay restitution on any damage that may accur from low flying planes

I am sure you are right Alex but the landing Charges made to the Operators takes this into effect( or it Should)
Like so many things, they have had the money, time to start spending ( if it is still in the Piggy Bank of course)
