⌛ prayer in super lee plz explain

so i went shopping in super lee and i was getting ringed up by the cashier then this super creepy scary prayer was being played on the radio..everyone i mean EVERYONE stoped what they were doing..i was the only one moving around in the store...then it was finished everyone did the cross and carryed on.
i was wondering what that prayer is cuz it seems to be serious..thanks

 

it is serious and it is each day at 3 and 6 pm if I am not wrong...

 

A Catholic prayer in a predominantly Catholic country. It is wise to show respect whether you agree with it or not.

I admire you for not just letting it blow by. The greed in the US precludes any work stoppage for prayer to the Lord and Giver of Life. Every employee would be fired here if they took time out in acknowledgement that they are here as a 'gift from God.' Money is America's God. Under any pretense of necessity or normalcy, it is still greed. Now, look what's happening? The caps will be removed from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico because of the hurricane season. Think all that escaping oil won't eventually reach there? I really hope not.

 

All that oil escaping is yet another "gift from God!"

I dont mind the prayer and I'm post tramau stress from American catholics priest sex scandals so I fear church in a different way than I fear God...I was scared one morning awaken to singing in the dark of dawn sounded like a funeral dirge.It had rained so hard the night b4 that My first thought was a tree blew over and had killed some one and finding the body at dawn they began to sing funeral music..I was wrong but still scared,,It was my landlords mothers birthday and thats how the do it here..Its a high honour when I think of it but I'm glad I wont be there for my birthday..
