Predictions for Brownouts in 2012

Last time I stayed at Check-Inn, I took a minute to read the notice of charges for missing items from room when checking out. Just how does one carry a queen size bed out the door past the reception desk? or a toilet for that matter?......LOL

I was staying at the Nicanor hotel in Dumaguete last night. At some point the power went off. It came on in a short while (generator or power restored . . . I don't know). When the power came back on the light bulb in the CR burned out. When I checked out today I was charged 50 pesos for the light bulb that went out. I did not raise a fuss so it is possible that with some degree of stress I might have been able to get my 50 pesos back but . . I smiled and walked away. Only in the Philippines.
