As its name suggests, VIP Beach Resort is a secluded private Mediterranean-Asian inspired villa that was built initially as a family vacation home. As such, one could almost immediately feel the homey and casual ambiance it exudes. It is surrounded by well tended lawns and gardens dotted with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. The rooms are reminiscent of Filipino opulence – lovely hardwood flooring, antique boudoirs and other interesting pieces, ornate beds and wild tropical flowers characterize each space. Most rooms have their own balcony overlooking the beach front, pool or garden. What makes this resort so special is that it only has one solid entry gate where round the clock security personnel are on guard. The entire property is enclosed by a high perimeter fence for maximum security and privacy.

spent a quiet valentines dinner at VIP resort hotel. the food was fabulous! i recommend grilled king prawns, baby back ribs and pasta marinara. expansion is ongoing, even the unfinished suites have already been reserved for the summer. One honeymoon suite that grabbed my attention was one having a private outdoor bathroom at the rear, complete with a coffee table and a jacuzzi. if you dont find it whacky to gaze at the night sky while sitting on a throne, this place is a must visit

Spent ten days there. Thought the rooms were excellent, and the communal lounge areas are sea views are great too, and the two pools are big enough to swim in.

Wifi internet in the rooms looks good on paper, but it doesn't work - can only get signal in communal areas, restaurant and reception area.

Only down sides were the hotel sundry charges (a total rip off, but not unexpected) and the restaurant food was truly awful. :(

Still, on balance I thought it was fine as you can always go next door to Atlantis for food, which is much, much better.
