    I frequently give scammers numbers to NTC. I have a postpaid sims which leads me to think that the scams are from people that work for globe. How else would they know my new number? When you think about it we all were known users in the days of landline.

    Hi Everyone,

    This has been in force for years in Australia - "obviously" to discourage terrorists, criminals, drug dealers and similar characters from having access to "throw away" SIM's and untraceable SIM's. Did it work - NO NO NO NO. It created a SIM underground black market :sneaky:. We used to carry multiple SIM's and changed them on a regular basis.

    Dual-SIM mobiles became a blessing :angelic:.
