Best Posts in Thread: Purpose of this Forum

I joined this Forum back in May 2017, it was full of useful information about living in Dumaguete, surrounding areas and even the Philippines and the Island in general.

I am sorry to say that it has deteriorated in many aspects. It has now become political on almost every thread. Some have actual good posts of information, but the likes of some and a certain moderator have made it a mess. You are threatened with losing privileges because you dare to disagree with the Great and Powerful Oz. I am sure many of you know whom I speak of.

I am not sure who originated this Site, but you really need to get rid of moderator status for a certain one, he should not be allowed to moderate anything.

He has driven many from this site, some of which I personally know. I will be joining their ranks soon. If I want a constant barrage of political crap I can go to any website and get it. I live here because I choose to I want Dumaguete Information, not political commentary from the likes of Rich D, who has to do it daily or his life would end along with some others, including a "Moderator".

I have had good information passed on in the past, but I now believe I can get it else where or learn on my own. I am in agreement with the last to leave, Danbandana, who was always even keel and had some good info for us.

I might check in from time to time, but for now, Good Bye. I hope you go back to what I joined in 2017, if not, enjoy what you have lost.
