Hello, First, I recently visited your beautiful country and absolutely loved it. I spent about a week SCUBA diving in Puerto Galero before SCUBA diving for about a week in Dumageute. It was some of the most amazing diving I've ever experienced in my life, and that's 17 years of diving!

I do have a question, though. I visited a waterfall with a group, and I can't remember the name of the falls. I do remember that there was an entrance fee and a picnic area as well as some caged birds, if that helps, and it was a fairly short drive from the town. If anyone has information about the altitude of those falls, especially the altitude of where they fall into at the picnic area, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for any information you are able to provide!
    Gabrielle

    Waterfall Names?

Well, if nobody knows the altitude, let's start with names of waterfalls in the area near Dumaguete, preferably meeting the description with the caged birds, entrance fee, picnic area, etc. Thanks in advance!

    Here's my guess

    Gabrielle,

What you describe: "...caged birds, entrance fee, picnic area, etc." you could be describing a number of places. My guess is Pulanbato (Sp?) Falls. We visited there last summer, and it had all that. It was in Valencia, on the way to the power plant. Here's a picure of it. Does it look familiar?

Anyway, Good Luck in your search!

    Casaroro Falls

Thanks to everyone for your help. I tried to post an image but the link unfortunately didn't work. It was Casaroro Falls, altitude 700 meters with a 40 meter drop, that we visited. Again, I appreciate everyone's help.

I look forward to returning to your beautiful country again sometime!
