Cletus, how do you define being poor? Have you ever gone days without food, ever seen your make shift house washed away along with members of your family? Thank God I have never experienced anything like that. Two things that corrupt, one is money and the other is power, like water they always find the weakest spot. Politicians are just puppets, somebody else is pulling the strings.....regards JB.
One only has to look at the Malaga ( Spain) Story called Malay to appreciate that one City in Spain may be Responsible for the possible Downfall of the entire Spanish Financial Situation. 19 f the 37 City Councillors Jailed from 15 to 27 years. Mayor down to a Janitor. Where Charity begins at Home so does Corruption AND can I just say, it is even in the book ( The Bible) So we really do need to go Figure. :soapbox: JP
JB, I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you or anyone else about a definition. The definition that you propose obviously fits very few people and is ridiculous on the face of it.. Who is pulling the strings?
Excuse me I thought we were talking about Corruption here. Cos if the Malay issue is not solved there will be a lot of poor Spaniards. OK? pissing match or not, poor is poor and it normally comes from Corruption somewhere.

Just to make things clearer, When I stated that poverty is a breeding ground for radicalization, it was not mean't that everyone poor is a possible or potential terrorist. Or that they should or do resent rich or sucessful people. As rightly stated Bin Laden came from a very rich family.
