I was that young......and gave Mick my last cigarette! BTW I also took the photograph, fond memories of the 60's and my short claim to fame.

As a rebel hippie teenager I remember in 1965 seeing one of the very first videos ever shown on "Top of the Pops" - this was Sonny & Cher and "I got you Babe". I was fascinated, had the same style as Sonny and quite fancied Cher. Then in 1966 a sensation appeared (actually exploded) on ToTP - Ike & Tina Turner with "River Deep, Mountain High". Loved that song ever since. Tina went through so much in her abusive relationship with Ike and the hotel scene in "What's Love Got to Do with It" is tough watching. Amazing woman.

Never saw her live but she lit up Australia with her National Rugby League anthem - Simply the Best - filmed with some outstanding NRL rugby plays. She is seriously loved down here. It is so sad she died.....there are tons of tributes from everyone who knows her and TV specials for the rest of us. What a legend! No one down here is going to forget her anytime soon.
