I don’t have details on this, but I received sad news that Gary Perdue died yesterday from heart disease in a local hospital. Known for his quick wit laced with his unashamed West Virginia twang, Gary contributed generously to local causes, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be missed by his wife and stepchildren, and by the many of us who were privileged to be counted among his friends.
Don't believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting him but sounds like he was a great guy. So long and fair sailing Gary!
