I like Cebu City and its taxis - but in many cities it would require the trike numbers to be reduced and that would hit many poorer people.

I always say a prayer before travel in the Philippines, no restrictions for that and never "rigorously implemented" we all have choices.-

I was wondering about cars - a closed environment, and one where people may remove masks without being seen. But open air travel on bikes and trikes is restricted???-

Interesting thought, Could this be in retaliation for the Trike driver assoc beating back the law of "no trikes on the highway" and now they cannot afford to take a single fare from Bacong to Dumaguete or Sibulan to Dumaguete so problem solved ..... and to eliminate 1k drivers who are barely making it now with trikes that are unsafe would ultimately benefit the city... then maybe Grab could make a foothold...

i finally went to Cang's friday, the Sibulan to Canlaon quarantine pass day.
entered Duma from Sibulan at the Camanjac/Rovira rd intersection; no check points. got stopped at the Cangs entrance; told the guard i'm a senior, living alone, showed him my Sibulan barangay pass and gained entry.
the Sibulan public mkt also let me in.-
