    For anyone wondering;
    I just ran a Speed Test at 7:30PM with Mozilla open with 9 open tabs (Google/ Gmail & Facebook as well as Dumaguete Info & of course the Speed Test page) as well as Chrome open with 3 open tabs (Facebook) as well the PayTV is running here on the same incoming Cable but not sure if that also drains the connection.

    Fil-Products quoted 6Mbps and this is what it just returned;

    By far the best and most reliable is Globe DSL. Not LTE wireless, that Globe service is terrible. I am talking about GLOBE DSL, which is available some places, sometimes with available slots in a DSLAM box that is close enough to your house. I was getting Globe at Home DSL PLUS a globe “landline phone” connected to the DSL line, both for. P1299. I was able to get 500G at 5mps. Those options depend on the proximity of the nearest DSLAM. To me, 500Gig is “Unli”.

    Just for comparison, here are the results for my airLink service, and I am remotely located in the hills above Sibulan:

    My plan is called "Plan4499" ... and that is also the price. I know that's a lot, but at my location my only other alternative is Globe Wifi, which I did try to use and found it quite unacceptable. The nice thing about airLink is that they can provide service to just about anywhere, and they do have other lower price plans.

    Odd, that plan (4499) advertises at "up to 15Mbps" how do you get 45 Mbps ? and do you get that most of the time ?

    I think that they haven't updated the information on their facebook page in over a year. I'm pretty sure the speeds are actually different than are shown there. The 45Mbps speed today is better than average, I'm usually in the mid to upper 30's. I believe the 4499 package is supposed to be 30Mbps.

    Seems great - better than the 0.99 Mbps I am getting with my Globe this weekend! (I pay for 15 Mbps).

    But it was said earlier that it needs a mast on the property - I rent and every part of my property is covered. .
