    Hi Gentle People!

I'm IGOR from Manila and I will be relocating to Dumaguete by the end of October. I'm excited about the prospect of moving there. I will be looking for a place to live in, perhaps a studio or a 1-bedroom fully furnished apartment.

I'll appreciate any info/advice that you might have for one who's moving into Dumaguete. You can post here in this thread or you can get in touch with me through 0921.568.6882. Thanks and see you soon!

    Hi Igor,
welcome to the board, how long do you have to stay here in Dumaguete. The easiest is always stay a few days in a nice Hotel, rent a bike and drive around and have a look by yourself what and where you like to life. There are quite some places where you can rent rooms, houses or appartments for a long term stay. Or yu can get a monthly rate in a hotel or guesthouse, at least you have somebody then who cleans your room...

    cheers

    Rhoody

Thanks for the speedy reply, Rhoody!

I might be in Dumaguete for a long-term stay, no fixed period yet. It could extend up to 3-5 years. Your suggestion sounds quite sensible. Are there nice inns/lodging places that provide rooms for about P500 / day?

I also have another concern: is there a nice gym/health club in Dumaguete that's similar to Gold's Gym/Fitness First? Are there yoga classes offered in Dumaguete?

Again, thanks for the support! I really appreciate it.
