Rental Auto ???

That is amazing! Why else on earth would anyone want to rent a pick-up other than to carry something in the back? It was probably me that said that Kens Trading rented vehicles because a friend of mine rented one from them for 6 months before finally buying the car. Maybe you would have come out ok Dave if you told them you want to take pictures of it parked in front of your house? Maybe not.

I saw something funny on Youtube. Reekay of life beyond the sea suggested that if you have a pick-up and someone wants to borrow it, to just rent it to them. I hardly know where to start at how bad an idea that is.

 

Turned in the rental car with the damage from the motorcycle hitting me. Ended up losing my 8,000p deposit, but the damage to the driver's door and fender was definitely in excess of that cost. I could only apologize to the agent and provided a copy of the police report to him with the motorcyclists name, phone number and address in case he wanted to try and get compensation from him.

If "Poppy" is still renting his car it could be as cheap as p500/day.. Ask the VHire drivers next to Bethel if he's still renting that little yellow car with the black stripes.

It's a stick shift-I was using it to teach my wife to shift a few years ago.

 

I saw that little yellow w/ black stripes car a day or two after posting here. The windows are tinted so I couldn't tell if the owner was driving or someone else. But the car's still around.

I think the VHire drivers told me that car hangs around the airport now, but it's been awhile since I asked so....
