I think the whole thing is BS. Some of the panels are curved at the edges to follow the roofline.
One day I will learn Photoshop so I can have more hair on my head.

I am surprised no member with a drone (certainly there are a few?) has verified this yet.

I have my doubts of there's even a single solar panel on the roof of robinsons!

No, it is true. Robinson Mall just announced it new operating hours: It will open at 7 AM stay open continuously on Sunny days until 6 PM. It will open and close intermittently on cloudy days as necessary. During rain and typhoooooons the mall will remain closed. There will be alarms installed notifying customers when cloud cover will stop the operation of the escalators and the elevators so no one get stuck in the dark on the second floor over night. The NORECO II booth on the second floor now used for paying your electric bills will sell 100P tokens that can be used on the escalators to get you to the first floor using hard wired electricity for emergency exiting if necessary.

Robinsons malls to go solar in Visayas

From what it says its supposed to be *off-grid* which would mean during a brownout they should still be functioning. A grid tie in should be achievable by a switch system that automatically disconnects the grid (unless they want to pay someone to stand by the button or lever to provide +1 job). Of course that part is dependent on if they really paid for batteries and installed them. Further given the timeline for completion it should have already been finished.

However given the picture if its real or not is yet another question. I find it silly how they would cover 100% of the roof in solar panels leaving almost no walking room to get around and fix things. Compare it to other pictures of other Robinson's with solar finished already it looks like this one got far more panels than any other.
