Yessir, It does. Skynet has been working on this for some time now. Apparently you are no fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. "I'll be back." Joking aside: Those little buggers work for Google, Yahoo, Bing and other companies that gather information from the internets. Some of them even follow you around the site and provide you with relevant advertisements based off of the content on the thread you are visiting. Most are just here to crawl the site to gather content for their respective search engines. It's how search engines are able to provide you with relevant information when you do a search. They've always been there doing their thing, The old software just never let you know about it. I can turn it off if you have automatonophobia though. If you want to see who they work for and what they are up to you can click on the "Members" tab and then click "Current Visitors".
There is also bots filling up the forum with news flashes. Have to scroll through pages now to find actual DI posts. Can one easily filter them out?
That "NewsBot" is a user created by me and it posts an RSS feed from Google News that I loaded to it. You can ignore the user by clicking the NewsBot username/avatar ---> click ignore once the user popup comes up.
